What does this course involve?
Gain skills in a variety of picture framing construction techniques with this hands-on, specialised course.
You will learn how to mount and assemble basic and complex artwork, cut mat boards and repair framing materials.
You will also learn how to remove frames from artwork, prepare textiles for framing and decorate mat boards.
Plus you will gain an understanding of safety in the workplace, the safe and correct use of hand tools and working effectively with others.

Will my previous experience or study count?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) takes into account the knowledge and skills you’ve already gained through your previous education and work.
