What does this course involve?
Please note that after completion of this course you will not receive the full certificate. You will receive a statement of results for the unit of units undertaken.
You’ll need to complete this course if you want to apply for a license to erect and dismantle scaffolding over 4.5 metres on building or industrial sites.
What employment opportunities will I have?
This course will enable you to apply to WorkSafe for a licence to work as a scaffolder in the construction industry.

Can I apply?
- You must have a Doggers Certificate of Competency
- You must be 18 years or over (or mature age)
- You must be able to work at heights
- You must have English language skills (written and spoken) so that you can comprehend the regulations and carry out work instructions
- You must produce photo identification
