Parking

• Parking is available to students and visitors on campus. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine for non-permit holders. Disabled parking is also available.
• There is pay parking available:Kings Parking, 990 Whitehorse Road (under Tax Office). Open: Mon.– Fri., 7am–6.30pm. Fees: $3.50on presentation of staff or student ID. Early Bird (in by 10am, out after 2.30pm): $4.50 for general public. Telephone: 9898 9114.
• Nelson Campus is approximately 3 minutes walk from Box Hill Station. Bus routes are indicated.

Disabled Car Parking
Disabled carparks are located at every campus and are available for use by anyone displaying the appropriate disabled parking permit.

Infringement Notices
The following constitute an infringement. Vehicles will be booked if:

• Parking in unauthorised parking spaces;
• Parking in car parking areas without relevant parking stickers or tickets displayed appropriately;
• Parking in disabled parking spaces without relevant sticker; or
• Parking in non-designated areas.

Should an infringement notice not be paid within the 28 days the infringement progresses to The City of Melbourne where further costs are incurred. Should the infringement still not be paid the infringement progresses to the Perin Court where a further cost is incurred. On receipt of an infringement the relevant fine should be paid at the cashier on any campus.

Room Numbering Explained

The first letter refers to the campus (E = Elgar, W = Whitehorse, N = Nelson)
The first number refers to the building number
The next number refers to the floor level of the building
The next number refers to the room number
For example: N1.103 means Nelson campus, building 1, floor 1, room 03

Campus Security

The institute has a security presence from 7.00am, Monday to Saturday including vehicle patrol across the Institute.

Security guards are available during the teaching times of the Institute finishing 1.00am Monday to Friday and 11.00pm on Saturday.

The security patrol includes the following locations:
