| The Avant Anthology is an annual showcase of writing from new and emerging writers. Avant accepts submissions from Box Hill TAFE students and staff, and also includes a national short story competition open to the general public. Thank you to all Box Hill TAFE students and staff who have submitted written pieces to Avant 2008. This internal round of submissions is now closed. But please note that any writer can enter Avant's Short Story Competition 2008. Entries close on Friday 1 August at 4pm. You can email vae@bhtafe.edu.au for an entry form. Avant 2008 will be launched on Thursday 27 November at Angus & Robertson Bookstore, Box Hill Centro. Copies of Avant 2007 (cover pictured on right) are available from the VAE Reception (2nd floor, Whitehorse Campus) for $14.95 or $12 each for multiple copies. |
