What we doThe Centre for Performing Arts encompasses under its broad umbrella courses in: Our facilitiesThe Centre for Performing Arts is at the cutting-edge of innovative techniques and new technologies. We are able to train students in an exciting hands-on environment that aims to meet the requirements of industry and outfit graduates for the workplace as highly skilled, highly motivated, creative people. The acquisition of new technology is a priority; we have a new 20-station computer lab featuring Apple eMac and Digidesign™ Mbox hardware for Pro Tools™, Logic Audio and Auralia applications. This software provides students with individual access to music recording, editing, mixing and notation as well as aural training. In addition, the Centre has fully equipped Pro Tools studios and facilities for music performance, fitness training and dance teaching and management. |
