Marriage Celebrant TrainingPlan, Conduct and Review a Marriage Ceremony (HSMEL) is the mandatory course within the Certificate IV in Marriage Celebrancy and is designed for beginners wanting to become authorised marriage celebrants with the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Marriage Celebrant Unit. In Australia, celebrants are appointed by the Commonwealth Attorney-Generals Department. Please familiarise yourself with their selection criteria and requirements at http://www.ag.gov.au/celebrants as successful completion of Plan, Conduct and Review a Marriage Ceremony does not guarantee appointment as a marriage celebrant. Box Hill Institute uses professional celebrants working in the industry as our trainers. Each participant will receive a detailed folder developed by Box Hill Institute which will include all course material, relevant legislation and sample celebrant stationary. Our library is stocked with an up-to-date selection of course related books for participants to access. All the training materials are developed by Box Hill Institute. The course cost is $800, which includes resource materials and light refreshments. Session datesFor information on session dates, please see the document below.
