Certificate III in Electrotechnology Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

In the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Refrigeration and Air Conditioning you learn the basics of refrigeration and air conditioning, including occupational health and safety in an engineering environment.

You will also learn about hand and power tools, safe use of electrical wiring, and how to service and repair cooling systems.

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)

In the Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) you will gain a broad-based understanding of the industry, the fundamentals of refrigeration and various cooling devices, and the legal requirements and knowledge for occupational health and safety in an engineering environment.

You will learn about hand and power tools, and electrical and wiring equipment. You will also learn how to identify and handle various refrigerants and service and repair cooling systems.
