Your learning should focus on the achievement of Learning Outcomes. To pass the module you need to demonstrate to your tutor that you have achieved these outcomes.

Your performance is assessed against each of the Learning Outcomes, not against the performance of other participants. You determine when, where and how you learn to achieve the Learning Outcomes.

If you already possess these Learning Outcomes you may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), and if your application is successsful you will be granted credit for the module. You will need to apply for RPL and provide satisfactory evidence that you have achieved the learning outcomes.

Assessment

All assessment tasks must be satisfactorily completed to gain credit for each module. The assessment for the modules in Digital Fundamentals include a number of written assignments and online tests, as well as practical assignments (completed in the workplace).

Timeline

The course is typically planned for completion in 12 weeks. However, student may 'fast-track' and complete it in a shorter time period and if needed, a few extra weeks can be taken to allow for unforeseen contingencies the student may encounter. A recommended timeline is included in the course study guide and this indicates what activities and work should be completed each week to be able to complete the course in the required time.
